What We Do

- Balancing of circuits to reduce loading and usage which ultimately reduces cost.
- Perform monthly earth leakage testing and recording.

- Infer red Thermography of wiring and circuit breakers in the distribution boards on an annual basis to identify potential faults.
- Corrective repairs from the thermography report.
- Annual maintenance on distribution boards by cleaning, testing the circuit breakers to ensure that they brake and break the circuit.

Lamp Disposal & Recycling

LighTec offers a free lamp disposal and recycling service to all our existing lighting maintenance customers. Working with our expert environmental partners, we ensure that all lamps removed from our clients are disposed of and recycled where possible, in the safest manner and in accordance with new Government Legislation. We also offer a collect and disposal service to companies not on our client database on a per quote basis.

Mario Roos
Founder & CEO
More about Mario...
Mario Roos is a finance graduate with a successful track record of developing businesses across multiple platforms.
He has previously worked as Group Finance Manager, for Metronet UK. Mario has also worked closely with the Nigerian government to setup financial systems and procedures for government departments in Lagos.
Our CEO has further experience working in Ghana, Namibia and Botswana, where he successfully established a range of companies. He is the former GM of the largest lighting maintenance company in South Africa, and it is through this experience that he launched LighTec.
Mario drives the strategic vision and direction of the company, and ensures that customer satisfaction is the number one priority. He is passionate about encouraging young entrepreneurs, focusing on the unemployed youth and giving them an opportunity to build their own enterprises.
Mario’s attention to detail is meticulous and he continues to build strong relationships in the industry underpinned by his goal to make LighTec the No. 1 Lighting Maintenace company in S.A.
Haley Roos

Hayley is an HR specialist and has a broad range of skills garnered from a range of business platforms. She previously worked on high-level renewable energy projects, in particular wind farming in the Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey’s Bay areas.
Her passion is community-based business development.
She is a member of the executive team,as well as a certified ISO 9001 auditor and manages the company’s Human Resources and Compliance matters.
Nkosinathi Mabena

Nkosinathi is a qualified electrician and has his wireman’s licence qualification. An electrician with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, he joined LighTec in 2017. He supervises the technical team in the Gauteng region. His love and passion for his profession shines through continuously, as he is always available to lend a helping hand to the newer crew members.
